Review of a Returning to Teaching condition
For the purposes of recency of practice the QCT accepts teaching in recognised schools in other Australian states and territories as equivalent to teaching in a Queensland school. The QCT may also consider other types of teaching experience, on an individual basis, if you apply for review of your RTT condition.
The QCT will assess your application for a review of your RTT condition against criteria to establish whether your experience is equivalent to teaching in a Queensland school. Your review application must include a response to each of the criteria including evidence of relevant practice and supporting documentation. This may include, for example, statements of service, referee reports, curriculum extracts, or policy extracts.
