Unsure how the Returning to Teaching (RTT) condition works?
Watch the video: The Return to Teaching condition explained
There are three ways you can meet requirements to have the RTT condition removed from your registration:
Endorsed programs are provided by a range of providers and vary in delivery mode and cost. Contact the provider/s directly for more information or to enrol.
The employer-based pathway involves completion of a range of activities offered by your school, employer or service. For further information see:
This pathway includes completion of mandatory elements provided by the QCT, in combination with self-selected activities. To access QCT resources and record completed activities, login to your myQCT account.
If/when you have successfully completed the mandatory elements of the QCT RTT pathway you can complete and submit the mandatory requirements declaration form. The RTT condition still remains on your full registration after the mandatory requirements have been completed.
To remove the condition from your registration you are required to engage with the mandatory, context/role specific and teacher specific elements of the RTT pathway. When you have recorded a minimum 20 hours of professional development including evidence of your engagement with the activities, apply to the QCT for a review of your RTT condition.
